New York, NYJOB DESCRIPTION:
Key finance business partner for the global editorial teams and content ops
Provide support on all budgeting, forecasting and reporting initiatives including ensuring accurate and timely reporting to key stakeholders
Help set and manage budgets for each editorial team, working with editorial leadership and operations team as well as key HR partners to stay with budget parameters
Prepare and review brand-level P&L with key editorial partners to help them understand brand profitability and performance, connecting editorial content strategy to financial outcomes
Assist in creating any additional deliverables or ad hoc analyses as appropriate and ensure completeness and quality
Responsible for the monthly close and budget/CE entries on behalf of the content org
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
5 to 7 years of business experience preferably in a FP&A role.
BS in Finance or Accounting or similar disciplines.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to quickly collect, interpret, analyze and present financial data in an accurate and concise manner.
Excellent organizational skills providing the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities under tight timeframes
Strong interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong oral/written communication skills, solid presentation skills, and excellent analytical skills are essential.
Self-driven with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a deadline-oriented environment
Proven creative problem-solving and quantitative skills. A strategic thinker who is also proficient in modeling in-depth analyses from the ground up using Excel.
Quick learner and problem solver.
Pay range: $130,000-$150,000
