CVS is hiring for a Senior Finance Manager, Commissions. In this exciting role, you would be responsible for managing broker and technology partner commission payments in addition to overseeing commission calculations, payment systems, and broker relationship management while ensuring accuracy and compliance with compensation agreements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure accurate and timely commission payments.
- Develop and maintain commission calculation systems.
- Respond to broker inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Monitor payment accuracy and reconciliation.
- Maintain documentation of commission agreements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Technology teams.
- Implement process improvements for efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years working experience.
- Experience managing commission payment processes or ownership of F&A responsibilities.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Python expereince.
- Ability to develop and implement commission calculation methodologies.
- Experience with broker compensation agreements and contract terms or ability to learn on own quickly.
- Experience with process improvement and automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for broker interactions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of commission payment platforms and systems.
- Strong understanding of broker compensation structures and payment systems, specifically for voluntary benefits including Group Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity.
- Experience handling broker inquiries and resolving payment disputes.
- Understanding of broker of record (BOR) changes and implications.
- Background in operations or financial processing.
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements.
- Experience partnering with sales teams and understanding sales compensation structures.
- Proficiency in commission management systems and financial software.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work expereince.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$75,400.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
