This role requires a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with expertise in financial management, compliance, and US-GAAP reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management
- Analyze financial performance and prepare management reports.
- Oversee daily accounting operations (AP, AR, petty cash, banking, payroll, GL).
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Ensure statutory compliances with TDS, GST, EPF, PT, and GST.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Financial Planning and Reporting
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide monthly analysis of financial results to the US Parent Company.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
- US-GAAP and Tax Compliance
- Consolidating financials as per US-GAAP (US Parent entity + Indian wholly owned Subsidiary entity).
- Coordinate with US tax on annual deliverable
- Audit and Transfer Pricing
- Coordinate with US auditors and manage audit processes.
- Assist in Transfer Pricing assessment and deliverables.
- Leadership and Team Management
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Desired Skills
- Must have 7-10 years of overall work experience
- Must have minimum 3 years of experience with demonstrated ability to lead and manage a finance team.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks governing FDI, including documentation and approval processes, Softex filing, etc.
- Familiarity with grant accounting to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with FASB Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 958-605
- Familiarity with US Tax filings such as Form 990, Char500, etc.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge in Tally, QuickBooks, etc.
- Profound knowledge of accounting, taxation, and treasury management
