- MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

- RESPONSIBILITIES
- • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with reporting deadlines.
- Review accounting entries, journal vouchers, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards before posting to the general ledger.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and regulatory authorities for audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and enhance reporting efficiency through continuous process improvement.
- Support management with financial reporting, profitability analysis, and other ad hoc financial projects.
- Supervise, coach, and provide guidance to finance team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain proper financial records and ensure all documentation is complete and audit-ready.
- Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
- AUTHORITY
• Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders.
• Recommend process and control improvements.
• Escalate compliance or financial issues to management.
• Provide guidance to junior finance staff.
- DELEGATION OF DUTIES
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA certification
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, taxation and controls
- Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills
