The Opportunity

Join our team as a new Senior Finance Engineering Manager

The Adobe Technology Services Organization provides and handles the platforms, applications, and services that power Adobe’s business. The Corporate Engineering Services team is looking for a senior technical leader to drive the IT Finance engineering portfolio. You will be responsible for technology strategy, planning and implementation of solutions supporting financial business processes encompassing Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Procurement, FP&A, Revenue Recognition, COPA, Tax, and Audit. This position will provide multi-functional engagement across business segments and routes to market bringing to bear analysis and standard methodologies to drive strategic decision making, engineering delivery, and corporate operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ERP systems, SAP financial modules, strong leadership skills, and a consistent track record in leading sophisticated IT finance projects. This role requires a strategic problem solver with the capacity to drive continuous improvement.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with product management and business partners to define and refine the product roadmap, user experience, priorities, and schedule. Your insights and input will help shape the direction of the services, ensuring they meet the needs and expectations of our users.
  • Implement and operate applications in the Finance & Procurement portfolio (SAP ECC, RAR, FICA, COPA, Ariba, Aravo, Concur, GTE, etc)
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP S/4HANA, including configuration, integration, and data migration.
  • Supervise and drive the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including IFRS and GAAP, through effective SAP solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve sophisticated SAP finance-related issues, providing strategic and tactical solutions.
  • Develop and implement standard methodologies for financial processes, maximising SAP functionalities to optimize revenue recognition, billing, and invoicing.
  • Transform IT Finance and Procurement to support Adobe’s rapid revenue growth; engineer highly resilient systems and as a service owner, be accountable for availability and scalability of services.
  • Lead and grow a premier team of IT professionals to ensure the long-term stability & value of the systems environment.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to integrate and enhance SAP solutions.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP finance, with a solid focus on revenue recognition and financial processes.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading SAP finance projects, including implementation and upgrades of SAP S/4HANA Finance and RAR.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP financial modules (FI, CO, FSCM, RAR) and their integration with other SAP modules.
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations and standards, including IFRS and GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead multi-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with partners at all levels.
  • Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration, data migration, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP Central Finance and/or SAP Treasury and Risk Management.
  • Knowledge of other ERP systems and their integration with SAP.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud.


Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $127,100 -- $264,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
