Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance, you will be an integral part of a small, tight-knit team that operates with the agility of a startup. This role provides exposure to diverse areas within finance, including Bookings, COGS, and Developer Expense, allowing for both specialization and broad understanding. You will collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders in tax, accounting, BizOps, product, business development, and payments. The work is a blend of operational and strategic responsibilities, requiring a deep understanding of key bookings drivers and trends. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to make a significant impact.
You will:- Analyze and report revenue performance data on a weekly basis. Collaborate with BizOps, BD, and Product teams to investigate trends and uncover data anomalies
- Maintain revenue forecasting models and provide recommendations for improvement
- Help prepare and communicate bookings-related metrics (financial results and insights) to senior leadership and other stakeholders at a regular cadence
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling to support business decisions and initiatives
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning and forecasting process
- Support monthly financial cycles, including collaboration with Accounting and Tax teams at month-end and quarter-end
- Partner with the Finance Data team to promote process efficiency and automation using Analytics tools and data management skills
- At least 3+ years of experience in finance, consulting, or business operations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with a willingness to learn other tools & software languages. Experience with Python, SQL, or other analytical software is a plus, but not required
- Strong analytical skills and ability to distill robust datasets into concise and meaningful insights and trends
- Track record of prioritizing and managing multiple projects and priorities
- An eye for efficiency and gravitate towards automating manual processes
- Intense curiosity about understanding key drivers of a complex business with eagerness and motivation to make an impact on the business
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
