Title: Finance Controller
The opportunity
Thales Denmark ApS is seeking an experienced Finance Controller for a newly created position within their new team. This role will be in charge and accountable for the statutory (local GAAP) and Thales Group accounts (IFRS).
As a successful Finance Controller, your primary focus on this varied and diverse role is to deliver across all aspects of finance and accounting of Thales Denmark ApS, whilst also working closely with your colleagues in other Thales countries.
In this newly created position, the initial phase of employment will also involve the implementation/setup of a new financial system (Oracle EBS) in collaboration with the IT team.
The main responsibilities are:
Closing monthly financial results, ensuring compliance with Local and Group accounting requirements (IFRS)
Reporting including monthly management reporting, monthly VAT reporting, handling legal entity reporting, financial analysis
Supporting Program Manager in project accounting and reporting
Managing audits and interfacing with external audit teams
Coordination of outsourced “Order to Cash” and “Purchase to Pay” processes including expense claims with Thales Business Support Services center (TBSS)
Ensuring not only financial and business compliance with legal and regulatory requirements but also compliance with all relevant for Thales, procedure, policies, regulatory processes, and governments regulations
Understanding of payroll related entries and accruals.
Finance Controller would also be in charge of treasury related functions. The main responsibilities are:
Cash and Bank Reconciliations coordination (TBSS)
Bank Guarantees coordination
Cash management in Group tools (Kyriba (external: in & out), Diapason (internal: in& out)
We have as high expectations as you
To succeed in this position, you have a minimum 7+ years’ experience in financial and management accounting including bookkeeping, reporting and annual planning. It will be an advantage if you have experience in using Oracle and experience in statutory account preparation along with knowledge in local regulatory and accounting requirements. General understanding of corporate taxation and transfer pricing is also an asset.

You will work effortlessly with your colleagues from different cultures.
In our international company you will need fluent Danish and English.
