Your New Role
We’re seeking a 12-month contract for a Senior Finance Business Partner to support our Investments function. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, delivering financial insight, strategic guidance, and commercial outcomes that directly support the Fund’s investment strategy.
Key duties include but are not limited to;
Act as the primary finance contact for the Investments business, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Partner with investment teams to develop and execute financial strategies aligned to fund objectives.
Deliver financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to optimise investment outcomes.
Provide monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Lead the annual budgeting process and support longer-term financial forecasting.
Provide commercial guidance on business cases, projects, and cost management initiatives.
Monitor financial performance against plans and provide advice on achieving targets.
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across finance processes.
What You’ll Need
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with CA/CPA (or equivalent).
Proven experience in financial services (superannuation experience advantageous).
Strong financial markets knowledge and commercial acumen.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify insights.
Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and communicating financial concepts clearly.
Strong technical accounting capability and forecasting/budgeting experience.
Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and drive outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
