The Senior Finance Business Partner is responsible for supporting financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities across the organization, with a strong focus on budget development, variance analysis, and operational decision support. This position reports to the Finance Business Partner Manager and collaborates closely with operational leaders, accounting, and many other departments to deliver accurate financial insights, guide business decisions and support strategic initiatives.
Pay: $85,000 - $105,000 annual salary
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and prepare annual and post-acquisition practice budgets
Create monthly and ad-hoc forecasts in close partnership with operations leadership
Partner with Accounting in support of month-end close processes
Perform monthly variance analysis to budget and prior year
Prepare reporting and build financial models to give visibility to financial outcomes and help optimize efficiency and profitability
Provide analysis and financial guidance for senior leadership
Perform other duties or ad-hoc reporting & analysis as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
Effective communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize quickly
Advanced skillset in Excel required
Key Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred
Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial planning or accounting
Previous experience in FP&A or as a Finance Business Partner strongly preferred
Experience with Sage Intacct as well as FP&A budget tools preferred.
