SALARY: As per range

LOCATION(S): Leeds, Wellington Place

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join our Wealth Management business within Insurance, Pensions & Investments.

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in helping the business achieve its strategic goals. Working closely with senior leaders and commercial colleagues, you’ll provide financial insight, support decision-making, and help shape the future direction of the business. This is a highly visible role where you’ll combine financial expertise with commercial thinking to influence outcomes, drive performance and bring value for customers and the organisation.

You’ll lead business partnering activity for the Wealth business, ensuring leaders have the information, insight and challenge needed to make informed decisions in a dynamic and evolving environment!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Business partnering the Client Office, supporting with proposition and commercial decisions.

  • Leading Lloyds Wealth business partnering team.

  • Development of financial forecasts.

  • Assessment of operating model and unit costs.

  • Communication of financial and key management results.

  • Identification and management of financial risks & opportunities.

  • Continued development of the business cases and tracking of benefits.

What we’re looking for:

  • Fully qualified accountant.

  • 5 plus years developing strong finance skills including cost management, business case development and financial reporting. A numerate problem solver with a commercial approach (able to understand the economic impact of decisions).

  • 5 plus years gaining strong business partnering capability, with the ability to work constructively with a range of colleagues across divisions and teams. The willingness to embrace challenge, learn and drive pace at change is critical.

  • 5 plus years leadership experience demonstrating a collaborative approach building excellent relationships with multiple partners and able to operate in a matrix team structure.

  • Proven ability to engage in constructive challenge and influence the right outcomes, balancing business needs and customer experience.

  • Expert communication techniques through storytelling and can simplify complex messages into a succinct, high-quality stories for leadership.

Skills Required

  • Fully qualified accountant
