Position Summary
The Senior Finance Analyst supporting the new CVS Healthspire™ Payor and Life Science Solutions (“P&LSS”) business will play a key role in providing visibility and insights to leadership on consolidated financials across the portfolio of Care Management / Delivery, Life Sciences, and digital products within P&LSS. Example P&LSS products include Accordant, ActiveHealth Management, and Weight Management (GLP-1).
The Senior Finance Analyst will have responsibility in all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis across P&LSS, partnering frequently with Strategic Finance, Product, and Data / Analytics leadership teams in the creation of budgets and forecasts. This position will be involved in supporting the organization by investigating actuals/budget/forecast variances as well as additional ad-hoc financial needs, including headcount and capital expenditure analysis. This position will be uniquely situated in the finance organization with full visibility into the sales, operations, and strategic planning. The role will report directly to the Sr. Manager, FP&A support for P&LSS.
Must be able to multi-task and work effectively toward deadlines. Must be a naturally curious self-starter with attention to detail.
Other responsibilities for the Senior Finance Analyst, include but are not limited to:

Consolidation of the area FP&A results and processes

Management of the planning process and upload/download functions

Assisting in preparation and presentation of consolidated financial results to leadership

POC for Segment Finance and Corp Finance

Partnering with business leaders and internal finance partners to ensure accurate and timely budget and forecast submissions

Supporting the accrual processes to ensure accurate financials
-
Building efficient processes for standardized tasks

Assisting in the production of SOPs to ensure consistency, mitigate risk, support training, and support continuous process improvement

SG&A expense tracking
-
Headcount tracking
-
Supporting ad hoc projects
Required Qualifications
-
3+ years budgeting and forecasting experience
-
3+ years of Excel specifically Vlook-up, Pivot tables, and Sumifs
-
3+ years MS Office suite experience including Powerpoint
-
General knowledge of accrual accounting and GAAP
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in a large organization working with multiple business partners

Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization experience

Database management experience such as MS Access or SQL
-
SAP/S4 Experience
Education
Bachelor’s Degree, with concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required or equivalent years of related professional work experience

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
