The Senior Finance Analyst, Financial Planning is responsible for performing more complex financial analysis and supporting planning cycles with increased ownership. This role independently manages portions of the forecast, develops insights, and begins partnering with stakeholders to support decision-making.


This role performs work under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems, referring to more complex issues to higher-level staff.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Prepare and maintain budgets and rolling forecasts for assigned areas
  • Perform forecast-to-forecast and forecast-to-actual variance analysis with clear explanations
  • Manage forecast assumptions and supporting schedules with limited oversight
  • Build and maintain financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses
  • Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics to support planning discussions
  • Prepare presentations and reporting packages for leadership review
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather inputs and explain results
  • Identify and recommend improvements to planning processes, reports, and templates
  • Support onboarding and informal guidance of junior analysts
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Economics, or related field; or equivalent years of experience
  • 2–4 years of relevant FP&A or financial analysis experience
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and forecasting methodologies
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning systems (e.g., Adaptive preferred)
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

Additional Information  

Travel frequency: 0-10% 

Estimated Salary: $66,000 - $82,000

The actual title & salary will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
