JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Administration and Finance, the Sr Finance Administrator acts as a key member of the Dean’s Office financial staff and serves as a point of contact for all matters related to financial transactions and reconciliations, accounting policies, and department discretionary budgets at the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH). Responsibilities include managing the daily transactions of the College’s budget including verifying and processing expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with University and College policies, executing journal vouchers and reconciling departmental budgets, developing and maintaining financial reports and processing Dean’s Office financial commitments.
This role is also responsible for managing the College’s computer replacement cycle and making purchases on behalf of the Dean’s Office. Serve as a liaison to department administrators on operational financial issues. The Sr Finance Administrator also performs ad hoc financial analyses, reports, and other general tasks to support the Dean’s Office as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and four years of relevant experience. Strong financial analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, and Workday required. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and ability to meet competing deadlines.
