Tuxera is looking for a Senior File System Developer to join our Hungary team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and delivering reliable, high-performance storage and connectivity solutionsused by some of the world’s leading technology companies.

What You’ll Do
- Design and implement advanced features and optimizations for Tuxera’s file system and connectivity products.
- Lead technical initiatives to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with global engineering teams to integrate Tuxera technologies into customer and partner solutions.
- Support and guide custom engineering projects, from concept to delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining development processes, tools, and quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to maintaining a culture of technical excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong programming expertise in C, with a focus on embedded and system-level development.
- Proven experience with embedded systems and/or real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience in debugging, profiling, and optimizing performance in constrained environments.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation and testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Nice to Have
- Experience with coding standards such as MISRA.
- Familiarity with V-model or similar software development processes.
- Ability to review code, provide constructive feedback, and guide best practices.
- Experience contributing to open-source file system or kernel projects.
