General Description:
The Field Market Access Manager/Senior Manager Italy will be responsible to ensure and optimize access of the BeiGene´s pipeline at a regional level, building strategic relationships and engaging with regional payers/payer organizations (and their influencers).
This individual is a field-based employee with extensive market access experience who is responsible of the development of projects, budgetary control and to present value evidence tools to payers and those with budgetary responsibility at regional level. The Field Market Access Manager/Senior Manager´s Italy activity is designed to shape a favorable environment for our products and services through effective and targeted communication with payers at a Regional and Local level as dictated by the local country business.

Essential Functions of the job:
- Define and implement Market Access strategies to ensure access of BeiGene´s products at Regional and Hospital level by demonstrating their therapeutic, economic, and societal value using a deep knowledge of the regional environment.
- Manage and maintain the institutional relationship with all Regional Health Administration (Decision-makers, evaluators, influencers / advisers) and in their hospitals (management, medical directions, pharmacy), who have an impact on the development of national, regional and hospital pharmaceutical policy, for the evaluation and positioning of drugs, acting as the main interlocutor in the presentation and advice of the portfolio of BeiGene´s products.
- Carry out the introduction at a regional and hospital level of Beigene´s products.
- Lead the negotiations carried out at the central services and hospital level, both for tenders, as well as negotiated procedures and offers, with purchasing centers and regional framework agreements.
- Provide guidance for the development and customization of pharmaco-economic data, cost effectiveness/budget impact models in line with the specific needs and requirements of sub-national stakeholders.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders such as Regional Health Authorities, Medical Societies, Scientific Institutions, Payers and Patient Advocacy groups.
- Communicates relevant changes and trends in local health policy environment and Patient Access activities of new competitors to the cross-functional team.
- Ensure that all activities related to your job comply with the applicable external and internal regulations (policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and code of conduct).
Qualifications
- 5 or more years in a position in the pharmaceutical industry with dialogue with Regional Health Administrations and local organizations
- In-depth knowledge of the national and regional health system.
- Knowledge and leadership of relationships with key stakeholders for the pharmaceutical industry at all levels within the Health Organizations.
- Demonstrate deep scientific knowledge capacity to defend and value the clinical aspects in the therapeutic areas of their responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in drug launching in the regional and hospital market.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating drugs pricing and reimbursement conditions with public administrations and health authorities at Regional and Hospital level.
- Holistic and strategic vision
- Persuasive communication with high presentation skills
- Languages: Italian native and good English
Education Required:
Bachelor of Science, master’s in science or business.
Computer Skills: Standard Computer Skills required.
Travel: Approximately 75% of time
