This is a high-impact role for a senior accountant who wants to go beyond routine bookkeeping and work at the core of payments accounting.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Senior Financial General Ledger Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within a high-volume payments environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reconciling revenue streams, acquirer settlements, receivables, chargebacks, and merchant balances
Investigating and resolving discrepancies across systems, payment providers, and bank accounts
Supporting month-end close and maintaining audit-ready documentation
Reviewing postings prepared by junior team members and ensuring quality control
Strengthening internal financial controls and mitigating risk
Identifying automation and process improvement opportunities
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data accuracy and reporting reliability
You will work at the intersection of accounting, payments operations, and systems — gaining exposure to complex fintech processes.

What We’re Looking For3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in payments, fintech, banking, or financial services
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial statement structure
Experience with high-volume reconciliations and revenue accounting
Advanced Excel skills
SAP or other ERP experience is considered an advantage
Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail
Fluent English
ACCA/CIMA studies or certification are considered an advantage.
