New York, NYSenior Fashion News Editor, VogueOverview
Vogue is seeking a Senior Fashion News Editor with a sharp point of view, deep fashion intelligence, and an instinctive sense of what will matter next. This editor will help shape the daily fashion conversation at Vogue, guiding coverage that is timely, authoritative, and unmistakably Vogue.
The Senior Fashion News Editor will edit and elevate daily fashion stories from a team of writers while contributing original reporting, criticism, and analysis across Vogue Runway. This role is central to our Fashion Week coverage—reviewing collections during the main and pre-collection seasons—and to our ongoing reporting on designers, trends, and the forces shaping the industry now.
Equally comfortable editing breaking news, show reviews, and celebrity style stories as they are discovering emerging designers and cultivating industry relationships, the Senior Fashion News Editor brings editorial rigor and curiosity to all their responsibilities. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Vogue’s fashion editors in New York and with contributors around the world, as well as with our social and newsletter teams to extend the reach of our reporting.
Beyond being deeply obsessed with fashion, the ideal candidate is an engaged reader with a broad awareness of culture, politics, and the world at large—and an understanding of how those forces intersect with style.
