SUMMARY:

This position plays a key role in leading a 2,500-sow farm facility, overseeing all aspects of farm-level business operations. The role is part of a dedicated team committed to producing high-quality, cost-competitive products while prioritizing people, safety, environmental excellence, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing production outcomes, budgets, team training, and leadership, as well as ensuring compliance with biosecurity, safety, and environmental regulations. The position also oversees facility maintenance, policy implementation, and accurate reporting of production, environmental, and HR data. A strong focus on dignity, respect, and operational integrity is essential.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience: +2 or more years of experience managing a live swine production facility; a complete knowledge of the animal flow processing ventilation feeding and vaccination protocols.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Ability to build working relationships with other Team Members that foster open communication increased productivity and safety.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for managing several groups of Team Members who perform like activities.

Travel: +6 times per year for training purposes.
