Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand or Farm Hand for a dairy farm located in Winnindoo, situated 25 minutes from both Sale and Traralgon in Victoria's Gippsland region. 

Peneplain Farm is a 370Ha farm with flood irrigation. Currently milking 1,150 Freisian cows through a 60 bail rotary, with auto cup removers and auto teat spray. The farm is predominantly pasture based with grain fed in the dairy, along with summer crop and silage feeding. This farm is 70% Spring and 30% Autumn calving starting in July and February, rearing up to 300-350 replacements.

This role will include tasks the areas of:

• Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
• All aspects of milking.
• Animal husbandry.
• Pasture management.
• Machinery operation.
• Repairs and maintenance.

The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:

• Past dairy industry experience is desirable for this position, but we may consider inexperienced applicants with the right attitude at a Farm Hand level.
