In a global management consultancy like Roland Berger, the Finance & Controlling (F&C) function offers exciting challenges. We are currently ramping up our F&C service hub in Kuala Lumpur to support our global operations with unique capabilities.
As (Senior) Expert for Revenue and Cost Controlling in Kuala Lumpur, you will actively control our revenues from consulting projects and our costs on group, entity, and platform level. In doing so, you will closely collaborate with teams from various functional areas, such as Accounting, Controlling, or Tax in an exciting international environment.
This role requires profound professional experience in revenue and cost type controlling paired with strong analytical skills, a results-oriented way of working, and sound technical know-how with our key systems (SAP ByD, Jedox)
Job Description- Prepare and present reports on both revenue and cost side to F&C group management as well as further stakeholders within the platforms and entities
- Analyze profit and loss statements to evaluate profitability and derive different KPIs
- Assess and continuously monitor actuals for our main cost types, such as travel and research costs
- Prepare forecasts for both revenues and costs on group, entity, and platform level, in close alignment with group controlling
- Contribute actively to inter-disciplinary projects for our global F&C function
- Act as a competent point of contact for different stakeholders within the company
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Revenue and Cost Controlling on an entity or group level, preferably in an international environment in consulting or on the corporate side
- Analytical and conceptual working style, strong implementation skills and a distinct understanding of numbers
- Good communication and teamworking skills
- Business fluent English skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the MS Office suite and, ideally, SAP ByD as well as Jedox
