We are in pursuit of a skilled individual to Drive and execute the work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to offer elevated and better crafted product solutions that are innovative in technology, sustainable and feasible to manufacture in order to win more market and support the business achieve its set objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute projects assigned by scouting new technologies, new machinery, identifying construction methods, biomechanics, human body performance to improve Technology readiness levels elevating product solutions offered whilst ensuring manufacturing feasibility and contribution towards profits for the department.
  • Analyze and identify the best suited technologies from the toolbox to use to elevate the products thereby servicing the customer/ consumer need and contributing to achievement of set objectives.
  • Develop virtual & physical prototypes both internally and with partners by adapting an open innovation mindset and do the due diligence to confirm performance & feasibility.
  • Conduct/ Attend meetings by emphasising product manufacturability, possible risk factors and all other technical/ technological challenges to ensure timely solutions for effective garment construction process
  • Encourage a sustainable mindset by being up to date with global sustainable technologies, innovations and explore the feasibility of conceptualizing these solutions while supporting the business teams to meet customer requirement and win more business.
  • Research and understand adoptable technologies and identify potential partners to work with in a collaborative fashion to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Identify how to pitch new product solutions considering “Technology” jobs to be done based on the business requirements that are within the project scope and timeframe.
  • Define the scope of the project/s assigned, conduct scouting of technologies and improve Technology readiness levels elevating product solutions offered whilst ensuring manufacturing feasibility and contribution towards profits for the department.
  • Work cohesively with the team on the identifying appropriate solutions and value propositions to execute deliveries on time to achieve win-win situations for the customer and division.
  • Demonstrate ability to work on multiple internal, cross functional and group wide projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate the sample development process, participate in development meetings, whilst sourcing fabric and other raw material based on the customer request, in order to ensure samples / prototypes are completed and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Work in collaboration with Internal/ external stakeholders to conduct/ compile presentations on technology platforms/ products to offer elevated and better crafted product solutions that support the business win more market and achieve its set objectives.

  • Work in collaboration with the team to achieve set annual/medium term revenue, financial / non-financial targets, analyse annual overhead budget whilst identify variances for corrective action and provide strategic guidance where needed to ensure KPI’s are met.
  • Perform additional duties that commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • B.sc Degree in Chemical Engineering Textile & Clothing, Material Science
  • 3-4 years of industry relevant experience
  • Demonstrate Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Product knowledge across multiple categories
  • Project management
  • Analytical skills
  • Business acumen
