Senior Executive - Sales and Marketing
(Based at Malabe)
MAS Fabric Park is Sri Lanka's first and only privately owned apparel intensive free trade zone. Its operations focus primarily on the development and value addition of fabrics. The Park spans across a sprawling 110 acres in Thulhiriya and Giriulla, playing a strategic role in the vertical integration of the MAS supply chain as well as leading critical sustainability targets.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to be responsible for driving sales and marketing strategies for MAS Athena’s services. The role collaborates closely with management to meet targets for bookings, training programs, and overall revenue across training services and accommodation offerings. This involves executing impactful marketing campaigns, building new partnerships, and prioritizing long-term client retention. The position focuses on positioning the facility as a premier destination for corporate training, educational programs, and recreational activities while ensuring seamless collaboration with other departments to deliver exceptional customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executing a targeted sales strategy to engage corporate clients, educational institutions, government agencies, and professionals, ensuring effective market penetration and driving growth across diverse customer segments.
Identifying and cultivating relationships with prospective clients and key stakeholders, including decision-makers in corporate training and professional development.
Managing the sales pipeline and ensuring conversion of leads to actual bookings for training sessions, accommodation, and related services.
Establishing strategic partnerships with organizations, corporations, educational bodies, and government institutions to enhance revenue streams. (B2B)
Conducting Market Research to understand market trends, competitors, and customer needs in the training, education, and hospitality sectors and new marketing trends.
Foster long-term relationships with clients by ensuring excellent service delivery, handling queries, and addressing concerns before, during, and after their training programs.
Meeting sales forecasts and targets aligned with organizational goals, monitoring performance, and take corrective actions when necessary.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Degree in Marketing or CIM
Language proficiency in English and Sinhala plus 2-5 years relevant work experience,
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Understanding team dynamics and ability to lead.
