Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to perform all lab tests in accordance with customer specifications and ensure the timely release of test reports and samples, facilitating customer and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct tests for all customers development, quality reference and production samples as per the test request form, care label.
Ensure that all tests reports are completed and released in line with the required production requirements.
Co-ordinate with relevant Factory Certified Auditors, Plant Coordinators and the Manager in order to communicate customer test results, facilitating the best possible quality decision to be made.
Ensure tests methods are up-to-date and is in accordance with buyer and industry standards thus facilitating accurate test results.
Perform the following procedures to get lab certification within the relevant time frame.
Train the lab technicians with updated test method.
Correlation with relevant laboratories.
Performing on-site audits.
Ensure all laboratory machines and equipment and equipment pertaining to the laboratory is calibrated, maintained and duly serviced preventing breakdowns and interruptions to testing procedures.
Coordinate the payment details, documentation for same with the recorder, facilitating the availability of cost effective, quality products.
Ensure overall cleanliness and housekeeping standards are maintained facilitating buyer and departmental requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science or degree in related field.
- 2-3 years of prior experience in fabric quality assurance.
- Experience of Microsoft Office and Power BI.
- Good English written and communication skills.
- Leadership ability to lead a team.
