Senior Executive ‐ Plant Lean Enterprise & Industrial Engineering

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to Assist in implementing MOS and IE initiatives whilst keeping record of the performance measures to ensure a Lean culture is achieved and sustained within the Business Unit & effectively manage the industrial engineering function ensuring the identification of the most effective work methods, setting of accurate standard times for operations, and coordinate with internal parties to facilitate the achievement of required plant efficiency level whilst continuously improving the operational standards and Pillar & QC drive.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the senior teams in conducting all MOS-related projects & initiatives in the Business Unit in order to drive a culture of continuous improvement and be accountable for the successful rollout of the assigned projects.
- Engage in Gemba Walks, speak with Team Members, Team Leaders, Group Leaders & process owners on a regular basis, understand the current situation, identify process deviation and involve all stakeholders in maintaining & improving the standards established.
- Gather & monitor relevant data from respective Department Heads, prepare KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) periodically and share the Factory & Department KPI reports with the senior management on a timely basis to assist effective decision making.
- Facilitate & capture learnings from consultant visits & internal resource persons, follow-up and ensure the actions / milestones are achieved within the agreed timeframes.
- Maintain the procedures laid out for internal & external MOS or IE audits / calibrations, be part of conducting pre-audits / final assessments and record the feedback provided for continuous improvement.
- Conduct & facilitate systematic problem solving, assist relevant employees / teams to address problems and come up with the necessary corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Conduct internal training, coordinate with the senior team and arrange Lean and Industrial Engineering related training for relevant employees to increase Lean awareness among all.
- Assist the senior team with the project initiative budgeting process to ensure sound financial control.
- Conduct Work Study and Time Study methods, including Yamazumi to analyze factory performance, identify and solve production issues related to Work Study and facilitate a smooth production process.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Mathematical and Statistics.
- 3-4 years relevant industry experience.
Lean knowledge, Toyota production system, Sig Sigma.
Industrial Engineering experience is an added advantage.
