About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with 1–3 years of experience in payroll operations. The selected candidate will support the Manager – Payroll Operations in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations in accordance with applicable local labor laws across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, demonstrates strong analytical skills, and has a passion for accuracy and compliance in payroll operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in overseeing and managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process for all employees across multiple jurisdictions.
- Prepare, verify, and process wages, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and benefit contributions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the implementation of updates related to new or revised payroll legislation across all operating jurisdictions.
- Maintain compliance with applicable local payroll, wage, and labor laws, including tax reporting and filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and smooth payroll operations.
- Assist in administration and reconciliation of year-end payroll activities, including statutory filings and regulatory submissions.
- Address employee queries promptly and professionally. Assist in responding to internal and external inquiries regarding payroll, fund planning, social insurance, and taxation.
- Manage vendor relationships with payroll service providers.
- Contribute to identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for end-to-end payroll processes.

- Strong knowledge and thorough understanding of applicable local labor laws across multiple jurisdictions, with a willingness to continually learn and achieve proficiency
Required Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting, Business, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in processing payroll across multiple jurisdictions, including payroll tax, labor laws, and social security filings.
- Familiarity with outsourced service provider models for payroll processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products, especially Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Payroll-related diploma or certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to convey information effectively to diverse stakeholders with confidence.
