[What the role is]
As a Senior Executive for Finance Operations, you will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing student financial operations and driving continuous improvement in our financial systems and processes. This role combines hands-on financial management with strategic system enhancement, requiring you to work closely with both internal teams and external agencies to ensure efficient and effective student financial services.[What you will be working on]
- Manage student financial systems and processes on fee charging, billing, collections, and refunds
- Collaborate with relevant agencies and internal stakeholders to develop and enhance student financial systems
- Manage internal and external stakeholder queries, including audit related matters
- Perform data analytics to provide insights for process and policy reviews
- Review, streamline, and improve finance policies and processes, including through technology enablement and automation
- Support finance transformation initiatives and ad hoc projects as required
[What we are looking for]
- Suitable credentials in Accountancy or IT with accounting knowledge
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in accounts receivable function.
- Experience in accounting system implementation will be preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft data analytics tools to automate and simplify Excel workflows, analyse data, and build interactive dashboards
- Meticulous, resilient, adaptable and ability to collaborate and engage with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve issues and achieve organisational goals
- Good verbal and written communication skills
