Role:

Our future colleague will be responsible for the accounting activities. Under direct coaching and supervision of the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for (non exhaustive):

What you'll do:

• You'll manage day-to-day bookkeeping, account reconciliations, bank statements, transfers, and supplier payments, ensuring accurate financial records.
• You'll support monthly and annual account closings, including the preparation of financial statements and assistance with external audits.
• You'll prepare and submit local VAT, tax, and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements.
• You'll manage billing activities, including invoice preparation and credit control, to support accurate and timely financial transactions.
• You'll prepare financial and management reports for local management and the Group, ensuring reliable information is available for business decision-making.

About you:

• You hold an ACCA Level 2 qualification or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• You have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar accounting or finance position.
• You have a good understanding of IFRS and its application in financial accounting and reporting.
• You are comfortable working with accounting and financial systems and have strong computer skills.
• You ideally have experience with SUN Systems, although this is considered an advantage and is not mandatory.
