Job Description

Senior Executive- FinanceThe Senior Executive – Finance will be responsible for ensuring efficient commercial finance operations by managing sales order processing, pricing administration, claims verification, receivables management, account reconciliation, and financial process improvements. The role requires close coordination with Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless commercial transactions while maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA Inter, or CMA Inter will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • 3–7 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Commercial Finance, Accounts Receivable, Sales Accounting, or related finance functions.
  • Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Pharma, or Agri-input industries is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working with SAP is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Order Management
  • Ensure timely release of sales orders on all working days, including Saturdays.
  • Verify pricing accuracy before releasing sales orders to support sales targets.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain teams to resolve order-related issues promptly.
2. Pricing & MRP Administration
  • Maintain and administer product pricing and MRP in SAP.
  • Upload and implement approved pricing revisions within defined timelines.
  • Ensure pricing consistency and accuracy across all business channels.
3. Distributor Claims Management
  • Verify distributor claims in line with approved commercial schemes and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for claim validation and approvals.
  • Maintain complete documentation and records of processed claims.
4. Receivables & Collection Management
  • Prepare overdue receivable reports and monitor outstanding collections.
  • Follow up with customers, Sales teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely collections.
  • Track payment status and support resolution of overdue balances.
  • Escalate critical collection issues to management when required.
5. Customer Account Reconciliation
  • Perform quarterly reconciliation of customer and key account ledgers.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Obtain customer balance confirmations and maintain reconciliation records.
6. Financial Controls & Process Improvement
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and governance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual finance processes.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
7. Bayer Claims Reimbursement Coordination
  • Coordinate with the Bayer team for quarterly reimbursement claim settlements.
  • Ensure timely submission, validation, and closure of reimbursement claims.
  • Maintain complete supporting documentation for audit purposes.
8. Credit Note Management
  • Raise and process Credit Notes (CN) against approved claims, commercial adjustments, and settlements.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and timely processing of all credit notes.
9. Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, CFAs, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve operational and commercial issues.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to support smooth business operations.
10. MIS Reporting & Business Analytics
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports and commercial dashboards.
  • Analyze financial and commercial data to identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights to management for informed decision-making.
