Information Security Responsibilities

• Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
• Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint

Role and Responsibilities

• A graduate or postgraduate (B.Com/M.Com/MBA) with 4 - 6 years of experience with good communication skills. A candidate who has discontinued CA/CMA course can also apply.
• Obtain and review bank statements to ensure completeness and accuracy, identifying any unrecorded transactions.
• Compare bank statement transactions with the company’s cash book or general ledger to identify discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as outstanding checks, unprocessed deposits, or timing differences.
• Generate regular bank reconciliation reports, documenting adjustments, unrecorded transactions, and discrepancies.
• Record necessary journal entries to correct discrepancies, including unrecorded bank charges, interest, or errors.
• Regularly update the company’s cash records to maintain an accurate view of the company's liquidity and cash flow position.
• Communicate with the bank and internal departments to resolve any issues or outstanding transactions.
• Provide management with regular updates on the status of bank reconciliations and highlight significant discrepancies.
• Ensure all bank reconciliation records are properly documented and ready for audits by providing reconciled statements and supporting documents.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy between the bank's records and the company’s financial statements for effective decision-making.
• Hands-on experience in NetSuite will be an added advantage.
