Job DescriptionJob description:
- Good knowledge of Letter of credit. Should be familiar with UCP 600 & ISBP
- Working on Letters of credit - Letter of credit to be checked and verified in accordance with
- Contractual terms and conditions followed by issuance & presentation of documents well within time.
- Coordination with buyers, Banks and overseas offices to ensure smooth execution of export transactions.
- Liaise with customers on shipment, documents requirement, payment terms and issue resolution.
- Work with banks for LC issuance, amendments, document negotiation, discrepancy management, and timely realization of payments.
- Partner with overseas offices to monitor cargo movements, align on contractual commitments, and resolve operational and documentation-related matters.
- Maintain effective communication among all stakeholders to minimize delays, mitigate risks, and ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Checking and/or preparation of shipping documents as per Letter of Credit; presenting them for
- payments as per contractual terms
- Prepare error free post shipment documentation/Clean negotiation of shipping documents
- Preparation of weekly reports and updating accurate data in working system as well as in shipment
- files.
- Daily reporting / status updates of shipments under various contracts, stock positions and high
- lighting potential delays.
- Proper filing and maintenance of records.
- Updating KPI
- Dedicated and to work as per the requirement of Job / shipment, time should not be a barrier.
- Any Graduate, Post Graduate
- Oral and Written Fluency in English is a must.
- Minimum 3- 5 years of exp.
Other skills (Computer Skills, etc)
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Accurate data entry skills and Strong documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and propose solutions.
- Disciplined, honest and upright, abide by company culture and policy carefully.
- Can work under pressure and patient and keep proactive communications with buyers/agents.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3-5 years of experience in trade finance/export operations
- Good knowledge of Letter of Credit, familiar with UCP 600 and ISBP
- Oral and written fluency in English
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Experience preparing, checking, and negotiating shipping/post-shipment documents
- Strong documentation, accurate data entry, and KPI updating skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, work independently and under pressure
- Experience coordinating with buyers, banks, and overseas offices to resolve issues and ensure transaction execution
