PURPOSE

Provides diversified administrative and secretarial assistance according to manager or departmental needs.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following statements describe the general nature of work performed by people assigned to this job, may not be performed by all individuals in this job, and are not a complete list of all job duties required.

Responsibilities specific to this role:

  • Maintains manager(s) and/or department business calendar and schedules. Coordinates travel and other arrangements and handles other details as required.
  • Screens telephone calls and correspondence for manager and/or co-workers. Responds to inquiries and/or compose correspondence on behalf of manager(s).
  • Performs research and gathers information from multiple sources. Generates and prepares reports and presentations.
  • Completes individual projects within specific deadlines. Works with systems unique to that department to input and obtain data.
  • Relieves manager and/or co-workers of routine, semi-complex tasks. Plans, organizes, and implements procedures to manage the flow of work to manager’s office and may intercept work of a general nature. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:    Completion of 1 year college-level or technical school course work. Additional experience (1 year) beyond the minimum (below) may be substituted for education beyond high school.

Required Knowledge:  

  • MS Office Suite (EXCEL, ACCESS, WORD)
  • Strong knowledge of office procedures
  • Working knowledge of business calculations

Experience:   More than 5 years work experience performing semi-complex, multi-step procedures. 

Required Skills:         

  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong accuracy and attention to details
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information
  • Ability to analyze data, recognize and explain variations, and provide interpretation within guidelines

         

FLSA: This position qualifies for the Administrative exemption as the employee is required to exercise discretion and independent judgment in ensuring risk of loans insured is minimized. This position qualifies for the Executive exemption as the employee customarily and regularly directs the work of more than two employees and has the authority to hire or fire other employees.

Pay Range:


$25.97 - $42.86

This range aligns with current market data and reflects our commitment to competitive and equitable compensation. Salary offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and training. The range may vary in certain locations to reflect local market conditions. It is not typical to initiate pay at the top of the range to account for internal equity and allow for future and continued salary growth
