About Health Translation Queensland

Health Translation Queensland (HTQ) is a partnership organisation bringing together 13 of Queensland’s world-class universities, research institutes and health services to help translate well-evidenced research into clinical practice.

At HTQ, we connect the people and ideas needed to turn research into better health service delivery. By linking researchers with clinicians and consumers, we help tackle health service priorities and drive improvements in clinical practice.

As a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) accredited Research Translation Centre, we work to build the capability of our research translation workforce and to remove barriers to collaboration to accelerate research translation into clinical practice.

With the support of our partners, we’re ultimately helping Queensland’s health system become more connected, capable, innovative and responsive through research translation.

HTQ is auspiced by the University of Queensland (UQ) and is based at UQ’s Herston campus.
