The Senior Executive Assistant provides senior level, trusted administrative and strategic support to the President of UHN and Chief of Staff. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and discretion, serving as a critical partner in managing executive priorities, enterprise level governance activities, and cross organizational coordination. The position requires exceptional judgment, executive presence, and the ability to anticipate needs in a complex, fast paced, and highly visible environment.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Executive Partnership & Priority Management
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the UHN President and Chief of Staff, proactively managing and prioritizing a highly complex and fluid executive calendar aligned to enterprise and market level priorities
- Anticipate conflicts, assess tradeoffs, and recommend solutions that optimize time, focus, and outcomes
- Independently manage shifting priorities and emerging issues with minimal direction
- Enterprise Leadership & Governance Support
- Coordinate preparation for executive leadership cadence, enterprise governance forums, board level preparation, and high stakes internal and external meetings
- Prepare, review, and manage confidential executive level materials including agendas, briefings, presentations, and follow up actions
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters
- Travel, Expense & Operational Oversight
- Independently coordinate complex domestic and international travel, proactively managing last minute changes and contingencies
- Manage expense reporting, compliance, and approvals in alignment with enterprise policy
- Office & Business Operations Leadership
- Support onboarding/offboarding of senior leaders and key staff, including coordination of systems access, technology, and workspace needs
- Manage records, documentation, and information flow in accordance with enterprise standards
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, leveraging technology and AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to increase efficiency

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of administrative support experience
- 10+ years of executive assistant experience supporting C-suite or President level executives within a global, complex and fast-paced organization (Fortune 500 preferred)
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise level priorities and executive workflows
- Demonstrated experience with website management
- Experience managing multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience supporting executive leadership in healthcare or similarly regulated industries

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.94 to $51.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
