About Latent

Latent Health is the leading pharmacy intelligence platform. We're an AI company changing healthcare from the inside. More patients getting their medications. Pharmacy operations that finally make economic sense. Work that used to take days, now done in minutes.

We're live in 50+ health systems, including 50% of the top 20: Yale, Ochsner, Vanderbilt, UCSF, Mount Sinai. Over 2 million patients a year access medications faster because of us. Denials down 30%+. Clinicians serving 2x more patients. At Ochsner, pharmacists processing 96% more per FTE, every month. We've raised $80M from Spark Capital, Transformation Capital, McKesson Ventures, Conviction, General Catalyst, and Y Combinator.

Our marketing team is AI-native to the core. Every operator gets the latest models on day one, and we run advanced AI workflows that let a small team ship at a scale and pace traditional companies can't match. We treat marketing and creative like engineering.

The role

The next phase of Latent happens in person. The right dinners with the right pharmacy leaders. A presence at HIMSS, ViVE, and Becker's that makes the category notice. Flagship events the industry talks about for a year afterward.

That's the job. Decide which rooms Latent should be in, own them when we're there, and turn every event into pipeline. A role that fuses event strategy, brand-forward execution, customer relationships, and demand gen.

This role reports to the VP of Brand. Based in New York with the team.

What you'll own
  1. Own the event strategy and the calendar. Decide which conferences Latent attends and which we skip. Tier every event by priority (must-attend, selective, skip). Decide what we host ourselves: dinners, roundtables, summits, the flagship event we haven't run yet. Map every event to a specific buyer, a specific moment, and a specific outcome. Maintain the master events calendar as the single source of truth, and keep growth, sales, product marketing, and leadership aligned on it. Spend the event budget where it actually moves the needle, and have the spine to say no to the rest.

  2. Make Latent unmissable at the conferences that matter. Direct our presence at key healthcare events pharmacy leaders actually attend. Booth design, sponsorships, speaking slots, attendee mix. Partner with the Creative Lead so every Latent surface (booth, signage, swag, materials) looks like Latent and nothing else on the floor.

  3. Throw the dinners and small-format events that pull buyers in. Design bespoke dinners, roundtables, and customer-and-prospect gatherings the right people RSVP to before they read the agenda. Curate the guest lists. Pick the venues and the format. Use customer voice to set the conversation.

  4. Run the flagship Latent events. Build the moments the category remembers: customer summits, executive retreats, the event the industry doesn't have yet but should. Direct everything from venue to format to follow-up. Make every flagship feel high-end, well thought-out, and unmistakably Latent.

  5. Get the right people on stage and in the room. Work directly with our customers to get them on stage at industry events, on our panels, and at our dinners. Source the external speakers worth the room. Curate every Latent-hosted guest list. Build the relationships so the people Latent wants in the room actually show up.

  6. Drive the content and awareness that fills every event. Build the pre-event, live-event, and post-event content motion. Pre: announcements, save-the-dates, invite copy. Live: photos, clips, social, quotes. Post: recaps, takeaways, follow-up. Use email, social, partner channels, and paid to fill the room and amplify after the lights come down.

  7. Turn events into pipeline. Set the conversion target for every event before it happens. Coordinate the surround-sound (ABM, paid, email, sales follow-up) that turns a conversation in the room into a pipeline-stage deal. Measure every event against sourced and influenced pipeline. Decide what to repeat and what to retire.

  8. Run the operations cold. Manage vendors, agencies, contracts, budgets, timelines, and on-site logistics with zero drama. Build the playbook so every event runs the same high bar without re-inventing the wheel. Keep the wheels on for a team that ships a lot, fast.

How we work

We're a small marketing team that uses AI to punch way above its weight. Speed and impact over team size.

  • We use AI to accelerate every function, not as a side experiment.

  • We work shoulder to shoulder with growth, brand and creative, sales, product marketing, customer marketing, partner experience, and RevOps.

  • We move fast, scale with AI, and run a lot of experiments.

  • This role is for someone excited to rethink how B2B events are done, not run a conference checklist.

What success looks like
  • An event calendar that maps to ICP and pipeline targets, not industry-conference FOMO.

  • Every flagship event the category is still talking about three months later.

  • Bespoke dinners and small-format gatherings the right buyers actively want to attend.

  • Customer voices on Latent stages, on industry panels, and at our dinners. They want to come back.

  • Every event amplified beyond the room: clips, quotes, recaps, and social moments that travel.

  • Every event measured against sourced and influenced pipeline.

  • Zero operational drama. Vendors and agencies managed cold.

  • Brand expression at events that makes other healthcare vendors' booths look like cardboard.

You'll do well here if
  • You've spent 7-10 years in B2B events, field marketing, or experience design, ideally in healthcare or another regulated category. You've owned multi-event programs end to end.

  • You're operationally excellent. Run-of-show docs, vendor contracts, budgets, follow-up sequences. Nothing slips.

  • You're comfortable working with senior customers directly. You can ask a Chief Pharmacy Officer to fly in for a dinner you've designed, get a CMIO on a panel, and curate the room for the conversation that follows.

  • You think like a marketer about the event itself: the promotion, the content capture, the recap motion. Every event has an audience bigger than the room.

  • You've directed agencies and run an in-house event motion at the same time.

  • You know the healthcare event terrain: HIMSS, ViVE, Becker's, ASHP, AMCP, the pharmacy-leadership invitationals. You know which ones matter and you have opinions about why.

  • You believe brand and pipeline are the same job at an event, not a choice between them.

Compensation

Range reflects level of experience and demonstrated impact. Plus full benefits, latest AI tools on day one, and the leverage of building the event program for a category-defining company at the moment it scales.

Skills Required

  • 7-10 years in B2B events, field marketing, or experience design
  • Proven ownership of multi-event programs end-to-end

  • Comfortable engaging and booking senior customers and executives for events (e.g., CPO, CMIO)
  • Ability to design and run flagship events, dinners, roundtables, and summits
  • Experience driving event promotion, content capture, and post-event amplification (pre/live/post content motion)
  • Experience directing agencies while running an in-house event motion
  • Ability to set conversion targets and coordinate ABM, paid, email, and sales follow-up to turn events into pipeline
  • Knowledge of healthcare event landscape (HIMSS, ViVE, Becker's, ASHP, AMCP) or regulated-category events
  • Based in New York and able to work with the team on-site
  • Comfortable using AI-enabled workflows and tools to scale marketing and events
