Overview
The Insights product is an offering for Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, now in its 9th year, that offers teleconferences, surveys, in-person events, along with a plethora of AI-facilitated data and content. The teleconferences live in a transcript library portal, which covers a wide of industries/topics that enables our clients to make informed decisions. All content features experts from Guidepoint’s proprietary global network and is conceptualized and hosted by former investment professionals (i.e. private equity/hedge fund), sell-side equity research analysts, and industry professionals.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct bottoms-up company research including reviewing earnings releases, reading investor presentations and analyzing regulatory filings
- Moderate teleconferences on timely topics featuring an expert from Guidepoint’s network with the goal of producing actionable insights for buy-side and PE clients
- Work with our AI team to systematize diligence questions with the goals of automating certain fundamental research solutions
- Generate ideas and follow key investor views among relevant strategies within European credit
- Can be an in-person position or a fully remote work-from-home position
What You Have:
- Must possess exceptional written and spoken English skills at a professional level
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
- 7 years or more of deep fundamental analyst experience ideally in a Private Equity setting
- Must follow a bottoms-up, fundamental approach to investment research focusing on individual companies
- Has prior experience covering single name corporates on either the sell-side or buy-side.
- Some familiarity with capital structure or credit analysis, via the Broadly Syndicated Loan or Private Credit / Direct Lending markets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Outgoing personality with the ability to speak with people at all professional levels
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team
