Support Enterprise Data Integrity Services (EDIS) in the development of information lifecycle management requirements, guidelines, and best practices for effectively managing enterprise data across the end-to-end data lifecycle. Provide guidance to stakeholders on the collection, discovery, management, access, use, security, retention, and retirement of data assets. Understand business needs and identify opportunities to mature information lifecycle management capabilities.
Data Quality Focused
Support Enterprise Data Integrity Services (EDIS) in the development of data quality requirements, standards, frameworks, capabilities, and best practices. Lead and influence the evolution of data quality strategies and capabilities that improve data accuracy, reliability, and integrity while ensuring fit for intended use. Serve as a subject matter expert, driving adoption of advanced data quality approaches and tooling. Understand business needs and identify opportunities to mature data quality capabilities.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and continuous improvement of enterprise data quality, metadata management, information lifecycle management, and data governance standards, frameworks, procedures, and best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders on enterprise data quality and governance capabilities.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of enterprise data quality capabilities, including data profiling, monitoring, controls, issue management, and supporting technologies.
- Establish, monitor, and report on data quality, governance, metadata, and compliance metrics; analyze trends and provide recommendations to improve enterprise data management practices.
- Conduct and oversee data quality and governance assessments, identify control gaps, and recommend corrective actions to improve compliance and operational effectiveness. Drive alignment of data governance and data
- Develop and deliver training, documentation, guidance, and mentoring to stakeholders and junior team members.
- Support regulatory, audit, risk, and compliance activities, including responses to audits, examinations, and management inquiries.
- Communicate complex data governance and data quality concepts, requirements, findings, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Significant experience in data governance, data quality, metadata management, data engineering, data warehousing, master/reference data management, information lifecycle management, or related enterprise data disciplines.
- Advanced experience implementing and managing data quality capabilities, including data profiling, monitoring, controls, issue management, and enterprise data quality platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and data management practices; experience with Python, PySpark, Scala, R, or similar technologies preferred.
- Significant experience with modern cloud and data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Spark, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of regulatory, risk, audit, and compliance requirements, preferably within a financial services environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex enterprise initiatives and influence stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, collaboration, and technical writing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
