This role involves overseeing complex engineering challenges, managing high-impact capital projects, and helping drive our journey to World Class performance. You will be responsible for strategic planning, designing and executing capital projects, managing budgets and timelines, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders for optimal solutions. Your leadership and expertise will significantly impact our team's success and innovation.
In this role, you will:
Oversee and deliver fully functional capital projects that meet customer requirements and enhance our manufacturing site's performance.
Lead and mentor project teams to ensure the successful execution of capital projects.
Act as a subject matter expert to ensure superior safety, quality, operability, and efficiency in capital projects.
Provide strategic input to our plant’s master plan and long-range investment plans
Lead and support feasibility evaluations for new capital projects.
Direct project teams to achieve site and project business objectives (EH&S improvement, cost savings, growth, and innovation).
Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables with business objectives.
Utilize advanced planning and organizing skills to manage project priorities while coordinating activities across cross-functional teams.
What we look for:
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Controls Engineering, etc.)
7+ years of relevant engineering experience, with a focus on plant engineering and capital project management.
Extensive experience in manufacturing systems, including packaging and process systems/equipment.
Experience in blow molding is a plus (PET / HDPE)
Experience in operations or maintenance is a plus.
Proficiency in Project Management processes and techniques.
Proficiency in WCO / WCM / TPM / Lean Manufacturing processes and techniques.
Advanced understanding of problem-solving methodologies.
Expertise in developing, reading, and interpreting P&IDs and technical drawings.
Demonstrated high level of initiative and ability to drive results, with strong interpersonal skills, motivation, and commitment to lead and direct others.
Exceptional adaptation and flexibility skills to recognize the need for change and initiate the change process.
Strong budget and timeline management skills to ensure successful project delivery.
Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and align project goals with business objectives.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $106,700 - $204,900
–Zone B: $97,800 - $187,900
–Zone C: $88,900 - $170,800
