We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow key areas of our product to become the essential platform for small, medium-sized, and upmarket businesses. As a technical leader, you will facilitate and help your team find the most optimal technical solutions. You will help them establish processes enabling your team to deliver value with good quality and on a predictable schedule.
As a people leader, you will directly collaborate with every engineer and help them grow in their careers, focusing on team management, structure, career growth, and performance management. You will set ambitious goals and help teams and individuals to achieve them.
As a part of track engineering leadership, you will be able to drive or/and contribute to track-wide and company-wide initiatives.
- Lead and mentor up to 2 teams of engineers in designing, developing, and implementing solutions that align with our company-wide vision.
- Drive the creation of seamless, intelligent user experiences, leveraging automation and AI technologies.
- Oversee integrations with external ecosystems and partner solutions that are critical to our customers, particularly focusing on CRM partners and other essential SMB tools.
- Participate in customer calls during deal closures and propose effective solutions.
- Help to develop and maintain engineering processes, delivery, and collaboration among multiple engineering teams.
- Manage the performance and growth of engineers in your teams.
- Ensure the stability and reliability of the system no matter what.
- Translate company and product priorities into clear, actionable engineering plans.
- Own and refine the engineering roadmap, balancing feature delivery, technical debt, and other engineering priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to align engineering work with product strategy and customer needs.
- Participate in hiring and help build strong, high-performing engineering teams.
- Over 5 years of engineering experience, including 3 years in a management role.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development.
- Adept at working in a cross-functional environment with a focus on delivering impactful customer solutions.
- Proven track record of leading teams to deliver complex, user-centric software solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Passion for creating intuitive, seamless user experiences that drive customer success.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in automation or personalization is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SMB needs and challenges in document management and business processes would be a plus.
