We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our growing team — someone who can combine technical depth with strong execution and people leadership. This is a high-ownership role where you'll lead critical initiatives, build and scale high-performing teams, and play a key role in shaping the future of our platform and engineering culture.

• Drive outcomes, not just projects: Drive the end-to-end delivery of complex projects — across backend, infrastructure, and data systems — by partnering closely with Product, Design, and Customer-facing stakeholders. You’ll bring clarity to scope, simplify ambiguous problems, and ensure teams ship high-impact, high-quality work that’s aligned with real customer needs.

• Coach for compounding impact:Grow engineers through feedback, mentorship, and scope calibration. Champion a culture of psychological safety, clarity, and radical ownership to help individuals thrive and the team scale sustainably.

• Be hands-on where it counts: Lead architectural conversations, unblock engineering challenges, and guide teams through high-stakes technical decisions. You’ll engage meaningfully with the work — not just coordinate or report on it.

• Build the engine for scale: Define and improve team rituals, engineering metrics, on-call processes, and incident practices. You’ll help lay the foundations for a high-trust, high-autonomy engineering organization.

• You’ve led and scaled teams: You’ve built and nurtured engineering teams and helped individuals grow in their careers. You lead with empathy, clarity, and a strong sense of ownership.

• You take ownership of outcomes: You don’t wait for permission. You move the needle, simplify problems, and rally teams toward delivering customer value.

• You have technical credibility: You bring depth in at least one area — distributed systems, backend platforms, cloud infra, or data engineering. You’re not just guiding architecture from the sidelines; you participate actively in technical conversations.

• You’re curious about AI: You follow emerging tools, experiment with them, and think critically about how AI can change product experiences or developer workflows. You don’t need to be an ML expert - just genuinely curious and excited to lead in this shift.

• You put people first: Coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution aren’t afterthoughts — they’re your core tools. You prioritize team health and culture, and lead with an “others before self” mindset.

• You’re a systems thinker: You can zoom out and connect the dots between technical decisions, product strategy, and org design. Bonus if you’ve contributed to engineering strategy or built org-wide frameworks/processes.

• You bias for action in ambiguity: You thrive in fast-paced, remote-first environments where problems aren’t always fully defined. You bring structure without over-engineering it.
