About This Role:

We’re looking for an independently contracted full-time Senior Engineering Manager to join our Engineering team collaborating closely with the Head of Engineering. This is a hybrid role based out of our Wroclaw, Poland.

In this role, you’ll play a key role in leading multiple development teams working on Gainsight’s market-leading Community SaaS platform by improving development processes, helping new teams grow, boosting efficiency, and ensuring the reliability of deployed code. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a technically complex and scalable systems environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering leaders. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in technical guidance, team mentorship, and driving operational improvements.

What You'll Do: 

• Lead and coach multiple engineering teams.

• Facilitate detailed technical discussions and ensure high-quality delivery.

• Partner with Product and Design to align on goals and execution.

• Improve processes for efficiency, quality, and reliability.

• Drive a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Stack You’ll Be Working On:

• Backend: PHP, Python

• Frontend: React

• Infrastructure: AWS

• (Hands-on coding is not required in this role)

What We're Looking For: 

• 7+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in engineering management.

• Proven experience guiding technical discussions and improving team processes.

• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with SaaS products and cloud environments.

Our Compensation and Benefits: At Gainsight, we believe great work happens when teammates feel fully supported. 

• The starting base salary range for this role is 25,000PLN to 30,000PLN monthly. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an annual bonus and participation in Gainsight’s equity program.
