We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in scaling our platform, shaping technical direction, and leading multiple high-performing teams that deliver meaningful product experiences to our customers. You’ll play a strategic role in shaping technical direction, guiding architectural decisions, and developing a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. You’ll be at the heart of how we make complex data accessible and dependable, leading engineers to solve real, high-impact challenges across our data, product, and infrastructure layers.

Every day is different, but here’s a dose of the kind of things you’ll be doing:

• Lead and develop ~2 high-performing, cross-functional teams of skilled, passionate, and ambitious software engineers.

• Build strong and diverse teams capable of turning ambitious product visions into polished, production-ready solutions.

• Champion and maintain a high bar for technical excellence across teams, from architecture and design reviews to production readiness.

• Drive the technical strategy and roadmap, collaborating with engineering, product, and design to align initiatives with company goals.

• Mentor and empower senior individual contributors to expand their impact, enabling them to lead cross-platform technical initiatives.

• Lead major incident response efforts, establishing strong operational practices and ensuring postmortem learnings translate into real improvements.

• Serve as a technical sounding board and coach for senior engineers, helping them expand their leadership and technical impact.

• Identify and prioritize opportunities for system improvements across our platform, balancing product delivery with technical sustainability and scale.

• Hire, coach, and support exceptional engineering talent, dedicating time to one-on-one conversations to understand individual motivations and team dynamics.

This role will be a great fit if you:

• Experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development in fast-paced environments and proven ability in managing multiple high-performing teams.

• Proven track record in building scalable backend systems and impactful user-facing features through technical strategy, system design, and organizational effectiveness.

• Strong product and design sense, with a history of delivering high-quality, user-centric experiences.

• Effective communicator and collaborator across engineering and cross-functional teams.

• Adaptive leadership style with experience driving high-impact initiatives and business outcomes.
