Platform Technology is a product area within SimCorp’s Product Division which delivers core framework and platform functionality that enables our business product areas to deliver efficient solutions and ensure a modern cloud enabled/aware framework. This is an opportunity for you to be part of the technology transformation to support our new developer experience, frameworks and platform.

Platform Technology consists of six teams (of 5-8 software engineers) across several geographical locations, and we are now looking for a Senior Engineering Manager for 2 teams that are based in Ukraine.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Manager for 2 teams of Software Engineers within Platform Technology in the Platform development line, with responsibility for staffing and developing your teams

  • Working closely with Product Management to understand and refine the customer outcomes that you and your teams are responsible for delivering

  • Leading the day-to-day work for the scrum teams and have responsibility for both the short-term business deliverables in the sprint and the long-term improvements

  • Collaborating with other engineering leaders on improvements within the product area, for example in product quality, security, delivery, system performance, etc.

  • Providing input to the strategic direction of the product area

  • As an Engineering Manager, you will be a part of a team of three Engineering Managers and report to the Director of Engineering.
