The Value Solutions Team is part of the Solutioning & Execution Center of Excellence (S&E CoE) within the Heavy Duty Plant Engineering (HDPE) organization, supporting the Heavy Duty New Unit business globally. The team is responsible for driving solution strategy, standardization adoption, and deviation governance across the Heavy Duty New Unit portfolio. Working at the intersection of Commercial, Product Management, Systems Engineering, Regional Customer Application Engineering, and Proposal Engineering teams, the organization helps shape competitive bid strategies while promoting consistency, risk-balanced decision making, and scalable growth through standard solutions.
The team also serves as a critical bridge between market needs and standards evolution, providing recommendations that help improve standard offerings and enable more competitive, scalable solutions.
What Impact You'll Make
As the People Leader for Value Solutions, you will lead a global team of approximately 12 senior engineering professionals located across the United States, France, and India. Your team plays a critical role during the Inquiry-to-Order phase by ensuring bid strategies align with approved product standards while balancing customer value, competitiveness, risk, and execution readiness.
You will help drive the adoption of standardized solutions, strengthen engagement with Regional Customer Application Engineering teams to influence customers earlier in the sales cycle, and accelerate the transfer of market learnings into product and standards evolution. Through leadership of deviation governance processes and cross-functional collaboration, you will help improve proposal quality, consistency, cycle time, and long-term business competitiveness.
Success in this role requires a strong people leader capable of coaching experienced technical professionals, building organizational capability, and aligning diverse stakeholders around common business objectives.

Team Leadership & Development

- Identify gaps between market requirements and standard offerings and recommend improvements to future standards, solution strategies, and product applicability.
- Promote standard work, Lean principles, and best practices that improve solution quality, consistency, productivity, and cycle time.
- Lead the governance processes and cross-functional forums used to evaluate and disposition solution and configuration deviations, balancing customer requirements, technical feasibility, risk, and commercial competitiveness.
- Promote disciplined decision-making that maximizes the use of standard solutions while ensuring alignment and transparency across stakeholders involved in deviation review and approval processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in governance effectiveness, decision quality, and cycle time.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- At least 8 years of engineering experience within the power generation, energy, or related industry.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a complex technical environment.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $131,700.00 and $219,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
