Qualifications and Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing managers and scaling teams.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams that build and scale consumer-facing, AI-powered digital experiences.
- Deep technical expertise in building distributed systems, modern web/mobile applications
- Strong ability to influence and align technical and business stakeholders, driving high-impact innovation.
- Experience with AI/ML, automation, and data-driven product development is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for improving healthcare through technology.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and scale a world-class engineering organization, managing senior engineering managers and their teams.
- Define and execute the technical vision and strategy for Visit Experience, ensuring seamless, high-quality virtual care journeys.
- Drive AI and automation initiatives to improve care delivery, leveraging conversational AI, wearable data, and smart workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Clinical, Product, GTM, and AI teams to ensure alignment of technology with business and patient needs.
- Develop and execute a roadmap for continuous improvement of pre-visit, in-visit, and post-visit experiences.
- Foster an engineering culture of innovation, execution, and impact, ensuring high standards for quality, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance and strategic leadership in designing scalable, secure, and user-centric healthcare solutions.
- Advocate for technical excellence while balancing speed, efficiency, and innovation to drive business results.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements
- Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
- Capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
- No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs of force (e.g., lifting a computer \/ laptop) may be required.
- Capability to work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
