ABOUT THE TEAM

The Enterprise Platform group at MURAL focuses on our enterprise customers to help them feel secure, compliant, and organized through the Mural experience. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our Admin team within the Enterprise Platform group. This leader will guide the engineering team to deliver critical portions of the product that help our enterprise administrators to manage all aspects of their enterprise experience within Mural. This role will work closely across all R&D teams inside Mural, to make sure that Mural admins have the best experience possible. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Lead a high-performing remote team of software engineers
  • Partner closely with your Product Management peers to build and deliver on a team roadmap that has a direct impact on our Administrative users in the Mural Enterprise
  • Work with Design partners to innovate and create a delightful user experience that helps our Admin users have a better experience inside Mural
  • Ensure the success of software projects through the planning and execution phases within and across your team and broader engineering groups
  • Build and develop a diverse and capable team via hiring, coaching, and mentoring engineers
  • Provide both positive and constructive feedback regularly to help engineers grow to their potential

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 4+ years of experience directly managing high-performing software engineering teams as an Engineering Manager
  • Experience managing past teams that have delivered using modern agile methodologies, shipping high-quality and reliable software in regular, iterative releases
  • A strong track record of attracting, developing, and advancing great engineers
  • Experience with teams that have delivered cloud-native software, ideally in a high-growth SaaS environment
  • Experience successfully managing people from other countries, cultures, and timezones and are comfortable working and managing 100% remotely
  • Experience managing engineers who have (or being an engineer who has) developed in Node.JS, React, and TypeScript stacks
  • Experience with Enterprise customer software, ideally in the administration experience area (nice to have)
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal

For roles based in New York City, California, Colorado, and Washington, the base salary for this role ranges from $201,600 - $252,000 + equity + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation.
