Job Description SummaryThe Senior Engineering Finance Manager, CFM Programs has financial accountability for functional, business, and company objectives associated with Commercial & Services engineering spend for LEAP/CFM, Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) Producibility and Industrialization (P&I), and Additive P&I product lines. Responsible for the financial planning, analysis, reporting, and capital allocation that contributes to the overall business strategy and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Engineering finance leader for LEAP/CFM, CMC P&I, and Additive P&I: establish trusted financial partnerships with the product line & engineering general managers.
- Work with engineering and product line teams to establish processes for the accounting, monitoring, & forecasting of external funding/reimbursements.
- Collaborate with the engineering operations team to manage strategy, budget, forecasting, monthly operating reviews, and close activities.
- Partner with Commercial Engines & Services (CES) program management teams to develop strategy and financials for major engineering projects. Establish ROI process and metrics to evaluate engineering investments.
- Monitor actual engineering cost vs. forecast and drive improvement in profitability and cashflow.
- Support period audits and reviews.
- Use FLIGHT DECK principles and automation to identify and support the implementation of improvements for financial processes.
- Effectively communicate financials and objectives to senior product line and engineering leadership.
- Perform special analysis of major issues as required and recommend solutions to complex business issues. May lead projects with cross functional teams.
- Become an expert in engineering financial charging practices, systems, and accounting. Provide recommendations and training to operational partners as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- 5+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience.

- Experience with return on investment (ROI) modeling and capital allocation.
- Demonstrated ability to learn & deploy FLIGHT DECK principles and automation.
