As a Manager, you will be responsible for delivering technical output for the development of hypersonic flight and ground prototypes and their subsystems for the purpose of maturing high-speed propulsion systems to TRL 6-7. As an experienced leader, you will direct teams of design and analysis engineers to meet program requirements and develop both the teams and their processes through continuous improvement, and balancing capacity and capability with business demands. As part of the engineering leadership team, you will be a key player in determining engineering strategy and influencing future business direction. - 15+ years experience, in Engineering/Technology & Functional Management through all lifecycle phases.
- 10+ years experience developing prototype ground and flight systems development including flight relevant (fuel cooled, flight weight, QA processes) hardware.
- 10+ years experience developing fluid systems
- 10+ years experience working with DOD and NASA customers
- Expert ability to develop mechanical design using NX CAD and TcUA
- Experience performing thermal-structural analysis via classical calculations, 1D tools and ANSYS FEA
- Significant experience leading hardware production and ground and flight testing of flight relevant systems.
- This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. Citizenship. Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold US Government Security Clearance.

For New York applicants the base pay range for this position is 150,000 - 225,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
