  • Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible)
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, and Security teams to embed DevSecOps practices into every stage of the software development lifecycle
  • Design and support highly automated CI/CD build and deployment pipelines on AWS as part of an internal developer platform
  • Analyze AWS resource utilization trends and deliver strategic recommendations for optimization, performance, and cost-efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated production issues across environments
  • Propose modernization strategies for legacy applications and workflows, moving toward cloud-native architectures and delivery models
  • Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation that supports operational excellence
  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers, modeling technical best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Keep stakeholders informed through clear, consistent communication and reporting
  • Participate in after-hours support rotation and implementation efforts as needed

What Success Looks Like

  • Core systems and cloud environments are highly available, automated, and secure
  • Software delivery pipelines are efficient, self-service enabled, and integrated with security and compliance controls
  • Production issues are resolved quickly, with systemic improvements made to prevent recurrence
  • Infrastructure usage is cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with growth and performance needs
  • Junior engineers are effectively supported and upskilled through mentorship and documentation
