Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards during all stages of solar module production (cell sorting, stringing, lamination, assembly, and final testing).
Conduct in-process and final inspections, audits, and testing of PV modules as per IEC/UL standards.
Perform root cause analysis and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues and customer complaints.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to improve process capability and product quality.
Support implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems within the plant.
Ensure adherence to reliability testing protocols (EL testing, IV curve measurement, thermal cycling, damp heat, etc.).
Strong knowledge of solar PV module manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
Hands-on experience with quality tools: 7QC tools, SPC, FMEA, CAPA, RCA, Lean Six Sigma.
Familiarity with IEC 61215, IEC 61730, UL standards, and reliability testing methods.
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Materials, or related field.
Experience: 2–6 years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in solar module manufacturing or related industry (electronics/semiconductors/automotive).
Knowledge of ISO quality systems and reliability testing preferred.
