About this opportunity:
The engineer will be joining the Advance RAN Services domain as part of optus project, where he will work and gain knowledge in advanced skill sets related to Radio Access Networks, such as NPI, Tier-II troubleshooting, feature testing, and other specialized areas.
What you will do:
NPI solutions & performance awareness.
Implementations: Features, HW, Software and solutions in live network.
Regular SW upgrades (MTR SW delivered every 2 weeks) plus regression testing- Execution of MTR upgrades in lab/CD zone
Test execution (familiar with lab setup and how to execute TCs)
Feature testing and activation in Lab environment- Field activation for trial/rollout
Network-Wide Implementation Experience: Hands-on experience with network-wide implementations using AMOS batches, preferably feature/SW/spectrum refarming experience.
Advance Fault handling and troubleshooting skills on 5G/4G- Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly during maintenance windows and time-sensitive operations.
Via PM counters/events, traces, DCGM collection/analysis, Jira/TR handling
KPI monitoring- Run and analyse KPI reports (ITK/NetAn)
Leading the other remote NRO resources/Presenting Lab Testing and Implementation plan presentation to senior customer management.
Preparation of Test Document consulting CPI/FFI/Demo/SP Docs. Including the TR/known Issue/MH Web research.
Interaction with other feature or existing NSD parameter tuning.
License requirement& NW wide availability check.
Team wide peer review session.
Service Impact Call out for Rollout Planning.
Test case execution and Outcome of the test case to be discussed with Customer.
The skills you bring :
Ericsson experience in RAN integration (3G,4G and 5G Rollout), Back office or customer support role.
Solid experience in configuration changes using moshell/amos
Solid understanding for LTE and NR configurations, protocols and interfaces
Solid experience in ENM tools (like SHM, ENM CLI, etc..)
Experience with RBS SW upgrade process
Familiar with KPI handling and PM counters
Experience in lab environment (not mandatory but recommended)
Experience in features and implementing new configurations
Advance Moshell scripting experience (Other programming i.e. Python experience will be add on)
MO Trees & Pre-Existing Functions: Understanding of MO trees and pre-existing functions (e.g., fdn, ldn, rdn).
Variable Assignments & Data Structures: Competence with variable assignments, hashtables, and arrays.
Variable Operations: Ability to perform mathematical operations, string manipulation, and other operations with variables.
Control Structures: Use of loops, if statements with conditions.
Functions: Knowledge of how to utilize functions to streamline scripts, as well as nested loops.
Familiar with MOP and able to update and create new one
Knowledge of initial integration scripts, what does it contain and the function of each script (not mandatory but good to have)
Familiar with LTE and NR L3 protocol tracing
